I have literally zero knowledge of programing or coding, but because the example weapon found within CWX's files contains a tutorial, it's honestly kind of easy to pick up and do. It takes some time, but it's a nice thing to do.

Install the requirements for Custom Weapons X, found here,, and then download the mod itself. It does everything, and I mean EVERYTHING you need to do to open a server, including opening the appropriate ports on your router. I know not all of you are good with computers, but if you have about 2 1/2 hours to burn and decent wifi, you can go to, and just straight up download a server.
